Bengaluru Police Arrested Five Nigerian For Illegal Drug Trade

Latest development have coming in from Karnataka where Bengaluru police in a latest development have arrested three nationals.

As per reports three Nigerian nationals arrested for drug abuse and illegal drug trade in Byappanahalli police station limits. 

Around 123 g Cocaine, 36 g MDMA & 15 ecstasy tablets worth Rs 11 lakhs recovered by the Bengaluru Police. 

However DCP East Division Police, Bengaluru, Karnataka has said that the accused do not possess valid travel documents.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
