    CBI Court Sentences Union Minister 3 Years Imprisonment In Coal Scam

    As per report coming in CBI court has granted bail to former Union Minister Dilip Ray and other individuals.

    As per reports coming in former Union Minister Dilip Ray along with other individuals have been convicted in a Jharkhand coal scam case .

    Earlier reported that a special CBI court had sentenced 3 year imprisonment to former Union Minister Dilip Ray in a coal scam case.

    The case was pertaining to the alleged irregularities in allocation of Jharkhand coal block in 1999. 

    The CBI Court has previously sentenced him along with his accomplices to rigourous 3 yrs imprisonment.

    But right now the same CBI Court has granted him bail on a persol bond of Rs 1 lakh each. 

    Court has also granted them time till 25th November to appeal in High Court.
