Supreme Court Stayed Contempt Proceedings Pending In Uttarakhand High Court

Reports have been coming in from Supreme Court which had stayed contempt proceedings pending in Uttarakhand High Court.

As per reports the Supreme Court of India in an order had stayed against former Chief Ministers and Chief Secretaries who haven't started paying rent for accommodations allotted to them.

The Supreme Court has issued notice to Uttarakhand govt on a plea filed by Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal

Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had moved to the Supreme Court against an order of the Uttarakhand High Court asking former Chief Ministers to pay market rent for the bungalows allotted to them.
