Maharashtra Chief Minister Announces Relief Package For Flood Affected Farmers

Reports have been coming in from Maharashtra where Maharasthra CM Uddhav Thackeray had announced relief package for the rains affected farmers.

As per reports Maharashtra have been facing indescent rains and floods and this had badly affected the farmers of the state.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Udhav Thackeray while releasing the releif package has said that it is govt's duty to give help to those affected by flood & rains. 

A review meeting was held to keep in record of the situation and when the review meeting ended it was decided to give Rs 10000 crores help to farmers & affected people for various work in flood-hit region. 

The Maharashtra government is trying hard so that the help reaches people by Diwali.

Instead of Rs 6800 per hectare help to farmers the government is deciding to increasing it to Rs 10000 per hectare. 

The Chief Minister has urged the Centre to do the same. Till now the Maharashtra government has been given approximately Rs 3800 crores help to disaster-affected people.
