Russian Made Sputnik V To Be Tested On Indian Volunteers

Reports have been coming in from Russia where Russian made covid-19 drug will be now tested on 100 volunteered Indians.

Reports have been coming in from Moscow where it has been stated from the health department that Sputnik V will be tested on Indian volunteers.

DCGI has granted permission two Indian pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy laboratories to take on the drug test on Indian volunteers.  However the date and time when the test will be carried out will be decided by Dr Reddy's laboratories.

Russian scientists have confirmed that this medicine test will be carried out in the second phase of the laboratory testing of the vaccine.

Dr Reddy's laboratories will be carrying out two phases of Sputnik 5 test on Indian volunteers.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
