Assam CM And Ambassador of Israel Ron Malka Lays Foundation Stone Of Indo-Israel Centre Of Excellence

Reports have been coming in from Assam where reports are.coming in that the Assam CM Sarbanada Sonowal and Ambassador of Israel to India, Ron Malka laid the foundation stone of the Indo-Israel Centre of Excellence.

As per reports coming in, the centre has finalized to built at an area of 8 hectares and at a cost of Rs 10.33 crores.  

Assam's Chief Minister Office has informed that it will have facilities like hi-tech greenhouse, automated irrigation system, insect-proof net house, sale counter, weather station, etc.

Assam CM Sarbanada Sonowal and Ambassador of Israel to India, Ron Malka laid the foundation stone of the Indo-Israel Centre of Excellence for Vegetables Protected Cultivation under the Indo-Israel Agricultural Project at Khetri in Kamrup (Metro) district, today.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
