Gurjar Agitation In Rajasthan Ends Today

Reports have been coming in from Rajasthan where there is an agitation going on.

As per reports the present ongoing agitation in Bharatpur, Rajasthan by members of Gurjar Community have concluded today. 

The Gurjar leader Vijay Bainsla has announced, "There was a positive discussion with state govt, we'll celebrate Diwali at home." 

As per reports Gurjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla had met CM Ashok Gehlot last night.  The meeting is said to be fruitful and has ended in positive note.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
