As per reports one naxal has been gunned down by 205 CoBRA commandos in an exchange of fire that ensued in Mahuri village in Gaya district last night.
One AK-47 rifle, one INSAS rifle and magazine recovered from the site in his possession. Search operation for more naxals in the area is underway. And more details are still awaited.
The security forces has reported that the naxal who was killed in an encounter has been identified as Alok alias Gulshan, had killed 2 civilians during a cultural program in Mahuri village of Gaya last night.
Following this, an exchange of fire ensued between CoBRA commandos & naxals. Alok was carrying a reward of Rs 10 Lakhs on his head.
