Four Persons Cheated Indian Overseas Bank Of Rs 56 Lakhs

Reports have been in coming in from Agra where police have arrested four persons for cheating of lacks of rupees from Indian overseas Bank yesterday.

As per reports four persons looted nearly Rs 56 lakhs from Indian Overseas Bank at Rohta, yesterday.  As soon as information of the loot was made public by the bank the administration immediately came into action and formed 10 teams to locate the accused.  

SSP Agra in a press release said that, "10 teams constituted to locate the accused, further investigation underway."

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
