PM Modi To Lay Foundation Stone For AIIMS Rajkot Gujarat On 31st December

Reports have been coming in from Prime Minister Narendra Modi office which have shared with the media that PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of AIIMS at Rajkot, Gujarat.

As per reports coming in Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be laying the foundation stone of AIIMS at Rajkot Gujarat on 31st Dec at 11 am via video conferencing. 

The reports also suggest that the stone laying ceremony will also be attended by Gujarat Governor, CM, Union Health Minister and Union MoS for Health will also be present on the occasion. For the project, 201 acres of land has been allotted.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
