Rough Sea With Strong Winds Will Forecast Today And Tomorrow

Reports have been coming in from Kerala State Disaster Management Authority which has informed media that squally wind speed reaching 35-45 km/hour gusting to 55 km/hour very likely over Lakshadweep-Maldives and Comorin area, southeast Arabian Sea and along and off south Kerala coast today.

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Kerala and Lakshadweep area from 5th December to 7th December.

High waves in the range of 1.5-3.2 meters are forecasted till 23:30 hours of 5th Dec along the coast of Kerala from Pozhiyur to Kozhikode. Current speeds vary between 47- 64 cm/sec.

According to Indian Meteorological Department this same state will continue till on December 06 as well.  As wind speed reaching 35-45 km/hour gusting to 55 km/hour very likely over Lakshadweep and Maldives and partially on  Comorin area, southeast Arabian Sea and along and off south Kerala coast on 6th Dec. Fishermen advised not to venture in to sea during above mentioned period.
