FIR Registered Against Tejashwi Yadav

Reports have been coming in from Bihar where Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) holds protest at Patna's Gandhi Maidan against the Centre's Farm laws in the afternoon.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has said that we demand that the Centre repeals the black laws.

As per latest reports from Bihar a case has been registered against RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and 18 others as well as 500 unidentified people for holding a protest without permission, against Farm Laws, outside Gandhi Maidan in Patna today. 

FIR registered under multiple sections of IPC and Epidemic Diseases Act.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
