Virtual Meeting In Progress Between India, Iran And Uzbekistan

As per reports coming in from Ministry of External Affairs which has stated that first Trilateral Working Group Meeting is being held today.

As per reports this virtual meeting was held between India, Iran & Uzbekistan on the joint use of Chabahar Port was held today.

During the meeting, participants discussed joint use of Chabahar Port for trade and transit purposes and enhanced regional connectivity. 

According to Ministry of External Affairs all sides have also noted the significant role played by Chabahar port for the region to deliver humanitarian assistance during COVID pandemic.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
