Agitating Farmers Hopeful Of Government Taking Back Farm Bill

Reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where protesters demonstrating against the farm laws at the Chilla border (Delhi-Noida border) take refuge in tents amid the recent spell of rainfall in the capital

One of the farmer has said that we will only relent after the govt accepts our demands of rescinding the black farm laws.

Many issues are to be discussed. Govt must understand, the farmer has taken this movement to his heart and won't consider less than the laws' repeal. 

Rakesh Tikait, Spokesperson, BKU, on today's meeting with Central government has said that the Centre government should implement Swaminathan's report and make law on MSP.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
