Record High GST Rs 1.15 Lakh Crore Collected In Month Of December

Reports have been coming in from Finanace Ministry where Finance Secretary AB Pandey with an interface with ANI has siad that the  record-high GST has been collected of over Rs 1.15 lakh cr in December.

This record high GST has been collected because our economy is on path of recovery. We've brought many changes at system level for better compliance. 

We're taking targeted action against those who have discrepancies in their record:

In the last 1.5 to 2 months, we have arrested over 180 people including managing directors of companies and chartered accountants for tax evasion. 

As per reports Finance Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey has said that they have not been able to get bails because of the seriousness of their tax frauds.
