Embassy Of Russian In India To Re-Issue Visas In India

Reports have been coming in from the Embassy of Russia in India which has informed that it had statrted reissuing of Visas to the Indian citizens who were facing issues of entering Russia as all Visas were cancelled by the Russian Embassy as Covid 19 restrictions were imposed.

Now as per latest reports the Embassy of Russian in India have ordered Issuance of visas of all categories (including student visa) to enter Russia via air checkpoints is resumed for Indian citizens. 

These orders of the Russian Embassy will also be affecting thoses persons who have a residence permit. 

However it's is reported that Issuance of e-visa is temporarily suspended as per the confirmed sources of Embassy of Russian in India.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
