Health Ministry Reports 15,968 Cases Of COVID-19 In Past 24 Hours

As per reports coming in from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has shared the latest data on COVID 19 cases in the country.

As per latest reports India has reported a total number of 15,968 new COVID19 cases in the past 24 hours.

As per reports a 17,817 people have been recovered from the disease and discharged from the hospital.

A total number of 202 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours as per Union Health Ministry.

Till now a total number of cases of covid-19 since the beginning of the disease has reached 1,04,95,147.  With total number of the active cases of 2,14,507 in the country.  The total discharges till now has been 1,01,29,111.  Total number of deaths has been 1,51,529 till now.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
