More Than Dozen Trains Running Late Due To Dense Fog Reported In Northern India

As whole of North India has been and gulfed with dense and heavy fog, more than dozen trains are running late due to dense fog and zero visibility in whole of North India.

As per reports coming in from Northern Railways more than 16 trains of Northern Railways are running late by 3 to 12 hours.  

As per reports 16 trains are running late due to low visibility and other operational reasons in the Northern Railway region.

Besides whole of North India now as per reports coming in from Indian Meteorological Department, Odisha has also been engulfed in a thick layer of fog blankets parts of Bhubaneswar.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
