Sasikala Natarajan To Be Discharged Today From Bengaluru Hospital

Latest reports have been coming in from Karnataka Bengaluru where Sasikala Natarajan been admitted to a hospital earlier this week with issues related to covid.

As per the doctor's she was asymptomatic. She was conscious and alert, her vital parameters were stable and blood sugars under control. 

She was maintaining saturation without oxygen and was walking with support. She was being continuously monitored as per Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute

Expelled AIADMK leader VK Sasikala will be discharged from Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru, Karnataka today.

Last week, she was admitted with the complaint of fever and later tested positive for COVID-19. 

The team of doctors attending Sasikala have taken a decision that she is fit for discharge and she will be discharged today with advice of home quarantine as Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
