Vaccination Process In Maharashtra Suspended Till January 18th

Reports have been coming in from Maharashtra where the vaccination process of covid-19 has been temporarily suspended till January 18th, 2021.

As per reports coming in COVID19 vaccination has been temporarily suspended till 18th January in the entire state of Maharashtra due to technical issues with CoWIN App as reported by the State Health Department.

However it is reported that no covid vaccination sessions were planned on Sunday 17th or Monday 18th January. 

So the question of cancellation does not arise. Covid Vaccination sessions will be organized in the next week as per GOI guidelines as reports coming in by Maharashtra Health Department.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
