2.3 Billion Transactions Worth Rs 4.3 Trillion In January 2021 Done By UPI Modes: NITI Aayog

Recent reports have been coming in from the NITI Aayog CEO which has stated that in the month of January a major development has taken place in the up transactions.

As per reports Amitabh Kant, CEO,  of NITI Aayog has informed media that Unified Payment Interface (UPI) recorded 2.3 billion transactions worth Rs 4.3 trillion in January 2021.

Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog has informed that UPI recorded 2.3 billion transactions worth Rs 4.3 trillion in Jan 2021. 

On a YOY basis, UPIs transaction value jumped 76.5 % while transaction value jumped nearly 100%. Took UPI 3 years to cross 1 billion transactions a month. Next billion came in less than a year," the NITI Aayog CEO tweeted.

The major part of economy right now has been doing payments through UPI transactions which is a big development on the part of economy of the country.

It is seen that after covid payments through UPI has increased tremendously as most of the people right now believe in doing transactions through UPI payment modes.
