Vice president of national confrence Omar abdullah on sunday claimed that he and his family including his father and the member of parliament farukh abdullah were under house arrested by the authorities. Omer has tweeted this is a new jammu and kashmir after august 2019. We have been locked in our homes without assigning any reason. They house arrest me and my father what is worsen then it. and they also locked my sister and her children in there house.

The former chief minister of Jammu&kashmir has also shared the pictures and in which picture a police vehicle are seen standing outside the main gate of his residence in a gupkar area of the city. Omer alleged that the people working in his house were also not allowed to come inside.He tweeted another , "Come on, your new model of democracy means that we should be kept locked in our houses without giving any reason and the workers in our house should also not get permision to enter the house. and Even after this you are surprised that i still have bitterness and anger for you.
