Air India Express Flight Hits Electric Pole In Andhra Pradesh All Passengers Safe

Latest reports have been coming in from Andhra Pradesh where an Air India Express flight hits an electric pole while landing at Vijayawada International Airport in Gannavaram. 

However it is reported that all 64 passengers on board the flight and the crew are safe as per airport director G Madhusudan Rao.

According to Air India Express spokesperson all passengers are safe. 

It is reported that the airline has ordered an investigation into the matter.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
