Indian Air Force Chief Gifts Legacy To Bangladesh Air Force Chief

Recent reports have been coming in from Bangladesh Liberation War which has completed its 50 years today.

As per reports to mark 50 yrs of 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War, IAF chief RKS Bhadauria gifted a legacy Alouette III helicopter to Bangladesh Air Force. 

Bangladesh Air Force chief gifted an F-86 Sabre aircraft that had been restored by them after war. 

Reports suggest that both legacy aircraft will be kept in the respective museums.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
