Ministry Of Health And Family Welfare States That 75% Of Health Care In India Are Vaccinated

Latest reports have been coming in from the Ministry of Health and family welfare which has stated that till now around 4 states and Union Territories have completed first dose of covid-19.

According to Manohar Agnani, Additional Secretary, Union Health Ministry there are 4 states and Union Territories which include Lakshadweep, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

These states have done more than 75% coverage of healthcare workers and frontline workers in terms of the first dose.

He further added that there are 10 more states which have done more than 50% coverage of frontline workers as far as the first dose coverage is concerned.

According to Health Ministry Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Tripura, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, UP, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana.

As per reports Manohar Agnani, Additional Secretary, Union Health Ministry, in addition to these four, there are 8 states which have done more than 75% of healthcare workers.

These eight States are Bihar, Tripura, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.

According to Ministry of Health and family welfare 1,14,24,094 vaccinations have been done till 6 pm today. 

Vaccination for healthcare workers is 75,40,602, including 1st dose to 64,25,060 and 2nd to 11,15,542. Similarly, a total of 38,83,492 frontline workers have been covered with the first dose.
