Nitish cabinet expanded in Bihar, Shahnawaz Hussain becomes minister

 


Patna. Bihar BJP leader and former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain has been made a minister in the Nitish Kumar cabinet. Hussain was sworn in as minister in the cabinet expansion held on Tuesday. The Nitish cabinet has now expanded 85 days after the Bihar assembly elections.


Hussain first became an MP in 1999 and became a minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. In 2014, Hussain lost the Lok Sabha elections. Being a spokesperson, he has also strongly kept the BJP's side at various forums. Before expansion Nitish had 13 ministers, which has now increased to 30.

Nitish cabinet faces include Shahnawaz Hussain (BJP, MLC), shravan kumar(JDU), Madan Sahni (JDU) and Pramod Kumar(BJP, Motihari), Sanay Jha (JDU), Lacey Singh(JDU), Samrat Chaudhary (BJP), Neeraj singh Bablu(BJP, umbrella), Former DGP Sunil Kumar (JDU), Subhash Singh(BJP), Nitin Naveen, Sumit Kumar Singh, Narayan Prasad (BJP), Jayant Raj(JDU), Alok Ranjan (BJP), Mohammed Jama Khan (JDU) , janak Ram(BJP).
