PM Modi catches fleeting view of intresting 2nd test match between india-england



 Prime Minister narendra modi caught a  fleeting view of the running "intresting" second test between India and england being played at MA Chidambaram stadium here. "Caught a fleeting view of intersting test match in chennai" Modi posted on a official twitter handle with a beautiful image of Chapuak stadium captured from his airplane. The tweet was retweeted by the official handle of BCCI.

Virat Kohli's man who lost first test match by a massive margin of 227 runs are in a commanding position in the ongoing test match as they bundled out England for 134 runs in their first innings.

India had earlier posted 329 runs after opting the bat first. The Prime Minister arrived earlier in sunday morning and handed over the indeginiously developed Arjun main battle tank (Mark1-A) to army chief MM Narvane.

He later proceed to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to launch several projects in the poll bound state. He inaugrated the Chennai metro rail phase-1 extension, completed at a cost of 3,770 crore rupees.

Modi also inaugrated 22 km long fourth Railway line between chennai and Attipattu and also laid the foundation stone for the discovery campus of IIT madras.

India and England currently taking a part in four test-series, the first two of which are being played in chennai and the remaining two matches will be played at the Sardar  patel stadium in Ahamdabad.
