Politics on the toolkit case, Congress oppose the arrest of climate activitist Disha Ravi

  

Politics has been turmoil since the arrest of environmental activist Disha Ravi in the 'Toolkit' case. The Congress has attacked the Modi government condemning the arrest of Disha Ravi. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has said that it seems that the government is scared of an unarmed girl, then former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has said that India cannot be silenced.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has opposed the arrest of climate activist in the toolkit case, saying India cannot be silenced. He tweeted on Monday and wrote, 'Bol ki lab azad hain tere, Bol ki sach Zinda hai ab tak'. They are afraid, not the country. India cannot be silenced.

 Taking a dig at the government, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote in the tweet, "Fear is spreading from an unarmed girl with guns, and an unarmed girl spreading the light of  courage." she has also demanded the release of Disha Ravi.

Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal also questioned the government's intention to arrest environmental activist Disha Ravi. He asked is the state  so weak that a tweet threatenes its security? Is the state so paronoid that a 22 year old girl is a national security threat? Is the state so intolerant that it cannot tolerate youth standing with farmers?  Did this 'change' Modi want?

Congress leader Digvijay Singh has said that the arrest of Disha in the toolkit case as shameful. He said that a young activist is being accused strangely related to global climate change. He said that if Disha is a criminal  then there will be also young criminals like Malala and Greta Thunberg. We have to think in which direction and where are we going?
