Two Nigerian Nationals Arrested On Charges Of Drug Peddling In Bengaluru

Latest reports have been coming in from Bengaluru where Central Crime Branch has arrested two people on the charges of drug peddling.

As per reports coming in the central crime branch have arrested these two Nigerian nationals on charges of drug peddling.

These two Nigerian nationals were when seized were having 56 Ecstacy pills in their custody at the time of their arrest.

This arrest have been done in Indiranagar, Bengaluru by the central crime branch as reported by Sandeep Patil, Joint CP (Crime).

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
