BJP meeting held in Delhi late night, candidates list may out today



The BJP Election Committee met till late night in Delhi for the West Bengal assembly elections. PM Modi, BJP national president JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and many big leaders were present in the meeting.


"We have discussed the seats and it will be announced soon," said Mukul Roy BJP Vice President after the meeting.


He also added that "Economist Ashok Lahiri, who was earlier set for Alipurduar assembly seat, will now fight from Balurghat seat"


According to sources, BJP will put more MPs from the party in the West Bengal Assembly polls. Bengal elections for the 294 seats are to be held in 8 phases.
