Chandrababu Naidu Agitation Was Denied Permission As Would Have Disrupt City

As reported earlier from Andhra Pradesh where TDP leader and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was detained yesterday by Renigunta police at Tirupati airport in Renigunta while he was going to attend election campaigning in Chittoor district.

Now the District police have said that permission was denied to former CM N Chandrababu Naidu's agitation.

As per reports the agitation nature was such that entire town would get jammed resulting in public suffering. Organisers were requested to look for alternative locations on outskirts of city but they refused as per Chittoor SP.

Organisers were planning to gather 5,000 party supporters which is a clear violation of COVID regulations.

With the upcoming urban local elections, protest of this nature would be a violation of the model code of conduct as per Chittoor SP Senthil Kumar AndhraPradesh
