Delhi Power Ministry Gives New Guidelines

Latest reports have been coming in from Delhi power Ministry which has given new guidelines for power sectors in the national capital of the country New Delhi.

As per reports coming in the Power Ministry has directs all buildings like malls, shopping complexes, cinema halls/multiplexes, office spaces, hotels, restaurants, hospitals with parking capacity of over 100 vehicles to set aside at least 5% of parking capacity for electric vehicles(EV)with suitable EV chargers.

These orders will come with immediate effect in the national capital.  The Ministry believes that this will help the commuters who will be using electric vehicles.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
