Indo Pacific Countries To Work Equally: Australian Prime Minister

Latest reports have been coming in from Australia where Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said that the Quad is very central to the US and our thinking about the region 

It is looking at the Indo-Pacific also through the prism of our ASEAN partners and their vision of the Indo-Pacific. 

I am looking forward to that first gathering of the Quad leaders as per Australian PM Scott Morrison.

He has further added that it'll be first-ever such gathering. I've had bilateral discussions about this with Narendra Modi and Japan PM. 

And of course, we are looking forward to those discussions and follow-up face-to-face meetings as well. This'll become a feature of Indo-Pacific engagement.

It will be four leaders, four countries, working together constructively for the peace, prosperity and stability of the Indo-Pacific, which is good for everyone in the Indo-Pacific.

Australian PM Scott Morrison said this on media reports about US President calling for a meeting of Quad leaders.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
