Major Fire Leaves 7 Dead In Kolkata Fire Which Broke Out On 13th Floor

Latest reports happen coming ine from West Bengal where Amazon fire has broken out on the 13th floor of a multi storey building which has left 7 people including four fire fighting personal dead.

As per reports fire has broken out on the 13th floor of a multi- storey building at Strand road in Kolkata. 8 fire tenders has reached the spot.

According to Sujit Bose while speaking to ANI MIC Fire and Emergency Services, Government of West Bengal fire has broken out on the 13th floor. 

We are facing a little issue as there is less space, making it difficult to put our ladders in place. We are working.

Seven people including four fire department personnel have died in the incident and two are missing.

The situation is under control now, cooling operation will be undertaken as per West Bengal Fire and Emergency Services Minister Sujit Bose Kolkata

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the fire incident site Kolkata has said that it's very sad. 

An ex gratia of Rs 10 lakhs each will be given to the kin of the deceased and government job will be given to one family member.

Manoj Joshi, General Manager Eastern Railway on kolkata fire has said that a high-level team has been set up by railways to investigate cause of the fire. We will cooperate with the State in any probe they will conduct.
