NIA Conducts Raids At Various Locations In Kerala

Latest reports have been coming in from National investigation agency which have conducted simultaneous raids in various locations in Kerala.

NIA along with local police units today conducted simultaneous searches at 11 locations including 8 locations in Kerala, two locations in Bengaluru and one in Delhi in Kerala ISIS Module case.

As per reports NIA on searches at 11 locations in Kerala ISIS Module Case has said that the searches were conducted at the premises of accused Mohammed Ameen and his associates who were members of the various groups and channels on encrypted chat platforms.

During the searches, several digital devices including laptops, mobiles, hard disk drives, pen drives, multiple SIM cards of different service providers.

As per reports the incriminating documents have been seized. Seized exhibits are being scrutinized and will be sent for forensic examination as per confirmed sources from NIA.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
