Ram Swaroop Sharma, BJP MP from Himachal Pradesh was found dead on Wednesday at his residence in Gomti Apartments near RML Hospital, Delhi.
He was found dead by hanging and no suicide note was recovered from the spot. Investigation of the death in its initial stage, said Chinmoy Biswal, Delhi Police spokesperson.
He further added it looks like a suicide case but it will be more clear after we have the autopsy report.
Ram Swaroop Sharma was born in Jalpehar village in Mandi on June 10, 1958. He was elected to the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha from the Mandi parliamentary constituency in 2014 and 2019 respectively.
