    Major Fire In Uttarakhand Forest

    Latest reports have been coming in from Uttarakhand where 4 persons and 7 animals died in forest fire.

    As per reports coming in the forest fire has broken out in 62 hectares of forest area in last 24 hours

    According to sources principal chief Conservator has said that around 12,000 guards and fire watchers of state forest dept deployed to douse fire. 

    Principal Chief Conservator has reported that fire destroyed property worth Rs 37 lakhs so far.

    Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that to take control over forest fire in Uttarakhand, Central government has given orders to deploy NDRF teams.

    The Minister also stated to provide helicopter to the Uttarakhand government.

    Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has called an emergency meeting over the forest fire incidents in the state as per reported by Uttarakhand Chief Minister's Office.
