Latest reports have been coming in from Uttar Pradesh where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath receives first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at Civil Hospital in Lucknow.

According to sources after taking first dose of covid-19 vaccine, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath thanked Prime Minister and Union Health Ministry for making vaccine available free of cost. 

According to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi he also thanked scientists of the country. The vaccine is completely safe. We all should take it when our turn comes.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also appeal to the people to take all precautions even after taking the vaccine. 

According to Chief Minister Aditya Nath Yogi, the new COVID wave is the result of our complacency in observing COVID appropriate behaviour.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
