Cyclone Yaas Will Hit As A Major Cyclone With strong Winds

Latest reports have been coming in from West Bengal where it has been stated that cyclone Yaas have turned into severe cyclone with increased wind speed which can destroy a large number of area.

According to reports coming in from ANI Cyclone Yaas has turned into a severe cyclonic storm with wind speed expected to increase by evening. 

NDRF DG SN Pradhan while speaking to media regarding the cyclone Yaas has said that it will further go up from160-185 km/h tomorrow. NDRF has about 115 teams deployed in 5 states and 1 UT including 52 in Odisha & 45 in West Bengal.

According to reports from Odisha where Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reviews the preparedness for Cyclone Yaas in the state via video conferencing.

Meanwhile Northeast Frontier Railway for its preparedness for Cyclone Yaas has cancelled its pessenger trains to the affected areas. 

As per reports 38 long-distance South-bound and Kolkata-bound passenger trains will remain cancelled from May 24 to May 29. Railways will refund the ticket charges to the passengers according to Northeast Frontier Railway.
