Indian Metrological Department Predicts Advance of Southwest Monsoon Soon

Latest reports have been coming in from Indian Meteorological Department which has stated that southwest Monsoon is likely to advance soon.

As per Indian Meteorological Department Southwest monsoon is likely to advance into South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal around May 21. 

According to IMD a cyclonic circulation lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood between 3.1 km and 5.8 km above mean sea level.

As per sources low pressure area is very likely to form over north Andaman Sea and adjoining eastcentral Bay of Bengal around 22nd May. 

It is very likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm during the subsequent 72 hours. It is very likely to reach West Bengal – Odisha coasts around 26 May as per reports coming in from Indian Metrological Department.
