Former IG Kunwar Vijay Pratap Joins Aam Aadmi Party In Amritsar

Latest reports have been coming in from Punjab, Amritsar where former IG Kunwar Vijay Pratap has joined Aam Aadmi Party, in the presence of Delhi CM and party leader Arvind Kejriwal.

According to reports AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that Kunwar Vijay Pratap is not a politician. 

He was called 'aam aadmi ka policewala'. We all are here to serve the nation. With this sentiment, he has joined the party today according to AAP leader and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. 

The Chief Minister further added that I want to assure the people of Punjab that AAP will make sure that culprits in the Bargari sacrilege case will be punished and justice is served.  

According to reports Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was addressing media in Amritsar.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
