As per latest reports coming in from Govt of India which has released revised guidelines for national COVID vaccination program.
According to sources these guidelines were to be implemented from June 21.
According to the guidelines "Vaccine doses to be allocated to States/UTs based on population, disease burden and vaccination' progress.
Wastage will affect allocation negatively since it was reported earlier that the doses of Covid-19 vaccine were many a times wasted by the concern authorities.
Price of vaccine doses for private hospitals to be declared by each vaccine manufacture.
These prices will be with effect from within population group of citizens over 18 years of age in the States and Union Territories who may decide their own prioritization factoring in vaccine supply schedule as per the guidelines.
