International Cooperation Answer To Covid Challenge: EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar

Latest report happened coming in from external affairs minister Dr S Jaishankar who has stated that whether it is vaccines, medicines, PPE or oxygen, international cooperation is answer to Covid challenge. 

According to the Minister cooperation is the answer to covid challenge need more, not less. Institutional multilateralism has been found wanting. 

Reforms have many forms but vaccine equity will be an immediate test according to EAM Dr. S Jaishankar.

Real economy needs decentralised globalisation, including in manufacturing, food and health. Resilient supply chains must develop in parallel. 

Full diversity of our planet needs more accurate reflection in global policy making.  The EAM was speaking at G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting at Matera,Italy.

The Minister further said that held comprehensive review of our relationship with JB Fontelles, High Representative of EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of EU Commission.

"Discussed vaccine production and access. Took up ‘Covishield’ authorisation for travel to Europe," he adds.
