Use Of Drones In Security Threat A Big To Countries Security: UN Special Secretary

Latest reports have been coming in from United Nations where a high level special security council meeting is going on.

According to the reports coming in Special Secy(Internal Security) at UN High-level Conference of Heads of Counter-Terrorism Agencies has shared that Misuse of information and communication,  technology and emerging technologies for terrorist purposes emerged as most serious terrorism threats.

This will directly decide counter-terrorism paradigm going forward in many countries of the world.

They further added that add-on to existing worries is Drones use.  Since it is low-cost option and is easily available.

The utilization of aerial/sub-surface platforms for sinister purposes by terrorist groups including targeted attacks become imminent danger and challenge for security agencies according to Special Secretary (Internal Security).

Possibility of the use of weaponized drones for terrorist purposes against strategic and commercial assets call for serious attention by the member states. 

We have witnessed terrorists using UAS to smuggle weapons across borders according to VSK Kaumudi, Special Secretary (Internal Security).
