Major Fire Reported In Shoe Factory In New Delhi

Latest reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where a major fire has broken out at a shoe factory in Udyog Nagar.

According to reports from Delhi where a fire has broken out at a shoe factory in Udyog Nagar.  Around 24 fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. However early reports suggests that till now no casualties have been reported so far. More details are still awaited.

As per reports from Delhi the fire fighting operations are still underway at a shoe factory in Udyog Nagar where a fire broke out this morning.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
