35,342 Total Covid-19 Cases Reported In The Past 24 Hours In The Country

Latest reports have been coming in from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has shared the latest data of the covid cases coming in the country in the last 24 hours.

As per reports coming in India has reported a total number of 35,342 new COVID19 cases in the country.

According to sources 38,740 people have recovered so far.  And 483 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry.

According to reports till now a total number of cases reported is at 3,12,93,062.  And total recoveries have been reported is at 3,04,68,079.

The total active cases is now at 4,05,513.  And the death toll reported so far is 4,19,470.

The total vaccination completed so far in the country is 42,34,17,030.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
