Latest reports have been coming in from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has shared latest data on Covid 19 in the country in the past 24 hours.

As per latest reports coming in India has reported 43,393 new COVID19 cases India country.

According to sources 44,459 recoveries and 911 deaths have occurred in the last 24 hours as per Health Ministry.

As per reports coming in the total number of cases reported so far from the disease is 3,07,52,950. However, total recoveries occurred is standing at 2,98,88,284.  The total Active cases of the country is 4,58,727.  And the death toll reported so far is 4,05,939.

According to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare till now total vaccination done in the country is 36,89,91,222 (40,23,173 in last 24 hrs).

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
