Pfizer Not Applied For Authorisation Of It's Covid 19 Vaccine To Be Administered In India

As reported earlier from the Government of India Pfizer have applied for authorisation of covid-19 vaccine to be administered in the country.

But according to source is coming in from Government of India, Indian drug regulator has urged Pfizer twice in writing to apply for emergency use authorization for its COVID vaccine.

The sources has further added that request from Government of India of Pfizer for authorisation of covid-19 vaccine in written was done so that application is processed well in time but Pfizer has not applied for the license yet.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
