35,178 Total Covid-19 Cases Reported In The Country In Past 24 Hours

Latest reports have been coming in from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has shared the latest data of covid-19 New cases in the country in the past 24 hours.

According to reports coming in India has reported 35,178 new COVID19 cases in the past 24 hours in the country.

As per reports 37,169 recoveries and 440 deaths have also been reported in the last 24 hrs, as per Health Ministry.

With this new numbers now the total number of cases in the country stands at 3,22,85,857.  And total recoveries are 3,14,85,923 till now.  The total active cases are 3,67,415.  The death toll is at 4,32,519.

India has conducted a total vaccination of 56,06,52,030.  And 55,05,075 vaccination is conducted in last 24 hrs.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
