India Is Prepared For Any Terrorist Activity From Afganistan: Chief Of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat

Latest reports have been coming in from Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat who in a media interface in Delhi has said that everything that has happened was something that had been anticipated, only the timelines have changed. 

From the Indian perspective, we were anticipating the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan according to Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, in Delhi.

We were concerned about how terrorist activity from Afghanistan could overflow into India and so to that extent our contingency planning had been ongoing.

Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, in Delhi has said that we are prepared for that.

CDS Gen Bipin Rawat said this at ORF event on "The India-US Partnership: Securing the 21st Century", in the national capital of the country New Delhi.
